Welcome to Cedar Run Pet lodge

Where your pet comes first

We opened May 1, 2007 with your pet's welfare as our focus.  We offer overnight boarding and daycare for dogs.

We have 20 individual runs operational at this point in time.  We live on site to attend to our guest's needs.

As you will read, we do not care where we are or how we get there....the animals that own us, go with us. They are our priority and our love.  It is what drives us to take care of your pets when you are away.  It is a huge responsibility to give you peace of mind when you do have to "lodge" your dog.  One not taken lightly.

Our vision to own and operate a pet lodge comes from our love of animals.  We have both owned pets our entire lives and have only taken one vacation together in 18 years.... My Mom and my sister Heather flew here to take care of our four "kids" for that time away.

We got our first dog, Bandit, a medium sized mix breed, in Bermuda.   We flew her back to Florida and lived with her in a hotel for 2 months while my husband attended a training course in Virginia. Bandit came with us to Washington, Florida, North Carolina, New York and New Brunswick.  (We lost Bandit in May of 2006, at 15 years of age.)

We then drove with Bandit 3000 plus miles to Washington state, where we lived for 2 years and added to our family.  Sharuga joined us in March of 1993.  A Siberian Husky that lived to 12 years old.  And Buddy, our cat that lived to be 13 years old, even though he was surrounded by "the girls".

In 1998, Shimmer landed on our doorstep.  She was a Siberian Husky as well.  We could not find her owners, so she decided to own us.  We think she was around 12 when we discovered a tumor and we gave her the peace in July 05.

Since that time, we have lost the "original family" who will live in our hearts forever.  We added 2 new members in 2005, Kashera and Bachelor.  Two more Siberians that were 2 months old.  They have taught us a lot about ourselves and them.

March 2008 we have gained another family member.  She is a red, gray and white Siberian Husky named Santana.  She completes our Siberian fruit salad.  Santana is my therapy dog as I lost my Mom March 25/2008 (just 4 days after getting her).

Check us out before you have an unexpected opportunity or family obligation that takes you out of town.  We would love to meet you and your dog(s).  We are very much a "hands on" operation as we let our guests out 6 times per day where they enjoy supervised playtime with us.

This is a new facility located between Moncton and Shediac to serve the greater Moncton area.  Our convenient location is just a seven minute drive from the Moncton airport. We are located off of Shediac Road (North 134) 6.2 km on  Weisner Road house no. 597.  Look for the sign.  Parking in front of building.

We welcome you to visit our facility with your pet.  Please give us a call to schedule an appointment.  If you prefer to check us out unannounced, the best times are: 9:30-10:00 AM; 1:00-1:30 PM; 6:30-7:00 PM.  During these times, we are tending to the guests and would be happy to show you around.  This system keeps our guests relaxed when it is nap time.

We look forward to seeing you soon.
